Born in 1961, studied biology / biochemistry in the USA at San Diego State University (SDSU); MBA business studies at the University of Phoenix (USA). Most recently Director (Managing Director) – European Operations and Corporate and Business Development at Prometheus Laboratories, San Diego ( http://www.prometheuslabs.com/ ). In this function with direct reporting to the chairman of the board, among other things, also responsible for company, product and production acquisition, license transactions and sales activities. Further positions: Managing Director (Managing Director) European Operations and the global urinalysis business of the Quidel Corporation San Diego (Nasdaq: Qdel, http://www.quidel.com/) and managing director of Rapignost urinalysis production, the former Behring-Werke, in Marburg; previously managing director of Quidel Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), as well as all subsidiaries; previously managing director of Quidel Germany. Managing Director Quidel France and Head OTC Europe 1993 to 1997; Marketing Head for BlueTest product line at the OHF / Clonatech group, which was later acquired by Quidel Corporation, USA. Bluetest pregnancy and ovulation tests were number 3 on the market in Europe and the clear market leader in France from 1987 to 1997. Further positions: President Cobiotex.
Former Chief Medical Officer of North Coast Women’s Care at Tri-City Hospital; 27 years of experience in gynecology / obstetrics and CRO (Clinical Research Organization). As a Prinicpal investor involved in various clinical studies in the field of new therapies and diagnostics. Clinical Instructor at the UCSD Medical School Department of Reproductive Medicine. Studied medicine at New York Medical College, previously with a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University.
Dr. in immunology with many years of experience in the research and development of rapid diagnostics, including the first commercial HIV test in France and market-leading hCG tests at the OHF group and its subsidiary Clonatech (OTC division acquired from Quidel).

MEXACARE develops and patents special in-vitro diagnostics and analysis methods. MedVec International sells in-vitro diagnostics from MEXACARE in Germany and other key European markets. In addition to home tests, the product range includes clinical tests, hormone tests, drug tests, alcohol tests and urine analysis tests.
OTC Pharma-Vertrieb GmbH
Our motivated sales force on site at pharmacists in Germany: OTC Vertrieb-Pharma with a team of around 35 people is one of the oldest and most successful sales companies in Germany. With their many years of expertise in OTC pharmacy sales, they provide the pharmacies as health centers with comprehensive product knowledge, information and supporting materials. Over 35,000 pharmacy contacts result in a strong success rate.
National Diagnostic Products is one of the pioneers in the field of rapid glucose tests worldwide. The Australian company specializes in the development, manufacture and marketing of diabetic diagnostic and monitoring products. Its products are known worldwide under the brand name BetaChek® and are exclusively distributed by MedVec International in Germany and other European markets.
Our partner, Efficare (SARL), guarantees intensive support for pharmacies in France. The Paris-based company has been successful in the marketing and distribution of OTC products for years and is well established in pharmacies and the “Point of Care” in France.
