Neckargemünd, January 2013 – Medvec’s Pregnancy Early Test ‘Yes or No’ is after 2011 and 2012 for the third consecutive year of Germany’s pharmacists for” Medical Product of the Year “selected Service. This is the result of a representative survey by the magazine “ Der Neue Apotheker ”, the official organ of the Bundesverband Deutscher Apotheker eV (BVDA).
“The renewed election as product of the year strengthens our conviction that, especially in this highly emotional area, the highest quality and maximum possible safety are more important than a supposedly low price,” said Knut Butzinger, Managing Director of MedVec international.
The frequency of recommending over-the-counter preparations is recorded in the annual survey of the pharmacists’ association. ‘Yes or No’ again took first place in the pregnancy test category with an unprecedented 54 percent in 2013 (2012: 53 percent; 2011: 51). The results can be read in the “Handbook for recommendations in self-medication – Medicines and health products of the year 2013” .
Due to numerous inquiries, MedVec international is now also offering “Yes or No” as an inexpensive double pack. “As an innovative pharmacy partner, we are responding to the trend towards multiple testing. Thanks to the longest shelf life of up to 42 months , we save women who want to have children, in particular, nerve- wracking waiting times, ” explains Knut Butzinger , explaining the introduction of the double pack.
